AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden sect.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to several objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
